  4. Gympie Pines Golf Club
    Both 9 and 18 hole golf courses are located within minutes of the Gympie CBD, boasting beautifully maintained greens and picturesque outlooks.
  5. Mary Valley Heritage Railway
    Ride the restored 1923 steam train which travels the historic 40 km journey from Gympie to Imbil.
  6. Gympie Gold Mining & Historical Museum
    An impressive tribute to the Region's past.
  7. Deep Creek Gold Fossicking Area
    Visitors can fossick for gold using the basic implements of pan, pick and shovel, with fossicking permits required and available from the Cooloola Visitor Information Centres.
  8. Woodworks Forestry and Timber Museum
    Includes demonstrations of early timber cutting techniques and a working replica of a steam driven sawmill. Please check with the museum for demonstration times.
  9. Cooloola Shire Public Gallery
    The Gallery is housed in the historic School of Arts building on Nash Street and continues to display a variety of both local and touring exhibitions of high quality.
  10. Racing
    Thoroughbred horse racing at one of the best facilities in south east Queensland.
  11. Heritage Walk
    Restored building from the Gold Rush Era add character to this quaint country town, highlighted by the Town Hall, Stock Exchange Building, & Smithfield Chambers Building.
  12. Lake Alford
    Feed the ducks at the wonderful parkland on the southern approach to Gympie.
  13. Nelson Reserve
    Picnic facilities, playground equipment and a skatebowl, all in the city Centre.
  14. Memorial Park
    Home to the James Nash Memorial and Band Rotunda, near to Gympie's historic Mary Street.
  15. Gympie CBD
    Stop for a cappucino and take in Gympie's commercial certre.

A complimentary continental breakfast is supplied for guests, consisting of assorted cereals, toast and condiments, fresh fruit, and beverages.

We will, by prior arrangement and a small extra charge depending on requirements, provide individual packages for you to cook for yourselves. For example, bacon and eggs, or sausages and eggs, etc, just let us know!"

A small seven - eleven is a short walk away, as is a local service station, where you are able to purchase the paper, or other supplies.

Evening meals are your choice, either dine in by cooking your own meal in the fully equipped kitchen, or dine out at one of the many other dining venues in Gympie. It is recommended that you phone ahead for any reservations.
